Jamie’s Story

I first found out about Tiny Lives and the RVI Special Care Baby Unit in Sept 2013 when the company I work for chose them to receive a charitable donation. When we went to hand over the donation personally we were given a tour around ward 35 to see how the donations are used. Little did I know that a few months later my baby would need the help of the Neonatal Unit when he was born prematurely at 32 weeks on 9th May 2014. 3.5 weeks later we got to take him home.

He’s happy and healthy thanks to all the staff and special equipment. I will be eternally grateful for all of their help and will continue to help raise funds either through work or individually.
